I'm feeling happy at the moment, I think things are starting to get better (healthwise) and that makes me smile, yay! The bleeding certainly hasn't gone away and my order schedule is still behind but it's less often and things are settling down, wooop! Well as some of you know I've been experiencing some unpleasant and unwanted bleeding. It's starting to really hamper my orders so I'll probably be slowing down orders for the next few weeks or so. It's nothing to worry about, just down to the birth control method I use. It's making me feel pretty grotty to be honest so I haven't been online much. Also, I'm having terrible problems with my joints - this has been going on for over a year now and it's getting very tiring. I'm waiting for another hospital appointment at the moment but it'll take a while to come through as it's in a different department to usual. *sigh* Man I am so tired. I only signed up to work part time hours but now I'm averaging six days out of every seven which means I only share two days off a month with my partner which really sucks. Hey guys and dolls, yikes it's been a while! I haven't really been on my blog much either recently to be honest, not quite sure why really, just lack of inspiration for writing I guess. Wow over two weeks since I was last here?! Now just cos I haven't been bobbing around in my little box (ooh err) doesn't mean I've been a lazy Rachy. *YAWWWWWWN* It's 01:53 on Saturday morning, I am so knackered! Been sitting in this same position for about eleven hours now (minus food breaks and wee breaks!)!! My site came offline a few days back so I'm working like an idiot to get this thing finished and it's killing me lol. When I was at college I used to work well into the night and think nothing of it, I must be getting old now though as I feel like absolute shit to be honest *groans* Everything is aching, I can barely see, I'm bloody starving and I'm boiling hot! I'm happy though really, I only have ONE page to do now!!!! God I can barely even believe it, this overhaul has been my life for the past two months or so and the thought of it being finished just seems so waaah! I'm still totally amazed that two months ago I didn't even know a scrap of XHTML or CSS, and now I have a site approaching the fully fucking finished status, it blows me away that my brain is so biiiig! *looks smug* Now the biggest decision I have to make tomorrow is when to blow you all away with my new kick ass site - I first thought Sunday, but then figured maybe a lot of people aren't online on a Sunday but then I though maybe less people work on a Sunday? WOW I HAVE WORKED MY ASS OFF!! Since last writing in here five days ago I have completed a further TEN pages!! Just over a month since I first posted here and thankfully I can really see my progress, yay! I now have around five fully completed pages! Yep FULLY complete - all spell checked, validated and 100% scrutinised to perfection, thank God for that!! Admittedly though the past two weeks have been pretty rubbish as I took a week out over Valentines and when I came back I found it hard to get back into the swing of things. All my enthusiasm had dropped to zero because I just wanted to be back in York spending money and having my breakfast cooked for me. *sigh* Anyway the weather has been really drab today and yesterday so that kinda forced me into here and now I'm on a role! Eugh, just realised how U G L Y my site looks when viewed in Internet Explorer 7 (I shudder to think how it looks in IE6!!). I have been checking how it looks occasionally but I figured it'd be bearable which I suppose it is, but I'm working damn hard on this so I don't want it to 'just do' - I want it to look GOD DAMN FANTASTIC! Soooo guys and girls if you are guilty of looking at this in ANY browser other than Firefox V2 then do not anger poor Rachy further and go download Firefox V2. It is available for PC or Mac so no excuses!

Wow I've made amazing progress since the last entry a week ago!! I now have all pages created and with all styling and info done (ie header, border, top and bottom links, titles etc) and now all links on the top and bottom navigation are working :D Yay! Approximately half of these pages have either none or incomplete content though lol, but I'm sure that'll all change soon as I'm gonna be spending a LOT of time working on the pages in the coming days. Oh and I know have a working gallery and worn panty purchase page - PHEW! I've spent about ten hours altogether recently resizing and watermarking over 60 images, it was a horribly repetitive task and each picture seemed to take sooo much longer than I'd initially realised! Aargh just remembered I haven't yet made the 'mini-galleries'....*screams silently*...oh bloody BLOODY HELL!! Ok, back to work for Rachy *grumbles*
Eugh! I've sort of hit a design wall over the past few days. Everything I do seems to look really 'blocky' and just screams CSS LAYOUT, well to me it does anyway lol! So recently I've just been working on changing minor things like borders, text colours and font styles etc, little things really but can really make a difference. Sometimes I hate being a designer as I get like this a lot, just sitting and staring and sort of waiting for something amazing to happen...and eventually it does after a while of thinking things over and trying a million different ways of writing a title! Gonna try and figure out a suitable heading colour now, yep that's how I spend my friday nights lol! Take care xxx
Hey everyone. Yeh I sorta feel like I'm talking to myself here as my site is nowhere near to being online yet, but I figured I'd start updating this news box as I go along, to give you something to read over when I do get online to let you know how hard I was working without any of you knowing! I'm making pretty great progress so far, I began learning XHTML and CSS a few weeks ago. I began reading a book teaching both subjects just after Christmas 2006 and finished the (650 page!) book very early into the new year. Since then I've been messing around with layouts and getting a feel for the things I can now do. So far I have a half done homepage and about me page aswell as a stack of images lined up to be cropped, resized and written all over! I'm working roughly about 3 hours a day on the site and it's all coming along brilliantly. Rachy over and out! xxx
